: BIOMIN’s Mycotoxin Survey Report: 1st Quarter 2010 results available now!

Once again BIOMIN shows its concern regarding the mycotoxin problem and provides you with your personal Mycotoxin Risk Management tool. The following figures, charts and tables refer to the worldwide mycotoxin contamination of agricultural commodities for the period between January and March 2010. In this 3-month period, a total of 1 790 analyses were carried out for the most important mycotoxins in terms of agriculture and animal production – aflatoxins (Afla), zearalenone (ZON), deoxynivalenol (DON), fumonisins (FUM) and ochratoxin A (OTA).

The XII International Symposium on Forage Crops “Forage crops basis of the sustainable animal husbandry development“ of Republic of Serbia took place in Kruševac, Serbia, from 25th to 28th of May 2010. The event was attended by more than 70 specialists in the field of forage production and preservation from mainly Eastern Europe.

: BIOMIN Participated in China Animal Husbandry and Feed Industry Expo

Showcasing more than 2000 exhibitors from over 30 countries, the annual event, China Animal Husbandry and Feed Industry Expo, took place on 16-18 May at Beijing Jiuhua Resort & Convention Centre. Organized by China Animal Agriculture Association, it was the one of the largest industry events in China, comparable to VIV China in terms of its relevance and significance for the domestic market.

: Mixed Feed Conference in Ukraine

On the 1st and 2nd of June the Mixed Feed Conference 2010 took place in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. Sponsored by BIOMIN Ukraine, the event gathered about 300 participants from Ukraine and also European countries, USA and China.
